Oaktree Institute had the pleasure of partnering with ISLA (Islamic Schools League of America) for a dynamic Fund Development workshop designed to strengthen and modernize their fundraising efforts. Together, we dove deep into the essentials of modern fundraising, from donor segmentation and growth to packaging programs for fundraising in both digital and in-person settings.

We explored how to build a sustainable major gift program, define clear volunteer and staff responsibilities with donors, and create alignment across income streams. The session also emphasized the importance of using a CRM for modernization of fundraising, offering hands-on guidance in CRM optimization, data analytics, and tracking strategies that help teams stay organized and results-driven.

By grounding the workshop in industry best practices and data-backed insights, ISLA’s leadership walked away with actionable tools to take their development efforts to the next level—strategically, collaboratively, and with clarity.
