Celebrate Mercy

Working with CelebrateMercy recently reminded me why we do what we do at Oaktree Institute. Their team came to us wanting to strengthen their fundraising efforts, and together, we built a custom Fund Development Training and Coaching program, led by our amazing trainer, Nadeem Riaz.

We took a real look at what they’ve been doing. We reviewed their current funding strategies, dug into past campaigns, and pinpointed what was working and what wasn’t. From there, we helped them shape a plan that would support not just their big campaigns like Ramadan, but their year-round fundraising goals too.

We talked through things like building a fundraising mindset, strengthening donor relationships, improving campaign strategy, and having major gift conversations with more confidence. Nadeem also worked one-on-one with team members to coach them through their individual challenges and help them move forward with clarity.

What stood out most to us was how committed the CelebrateMercy team was to growing. By the end of the program, they had a clearer vision, stronger internal alignment, and practical tools they could start using right away. One team member told us they’re already seeing a shift in how they approach their work and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.
