MAS National Strengthened Leadership Alignment and Built a Stronger Executive Team
The Muslim American Society (MAS) is a national organization dedicated to nurturing Muslim leaders and building a just and virtuous society. Serving communities across the country through tarbiya, youth development, community service, and civic engagement, MAS continues to be a driving force in shaping the next generation of American Muslim leadership.
As MAS grew, the National Executive Team recognized the need for deeper alignment, stronger collaboration, and clearer systems to support their expanding work. They wanted to streamline communication, strengthen internal coordination, and ensure their leadership approach reflected the mission and values they carry.
Our Work Together:
Oaktree Institute partnered with MAS to design a six-month Executive Team Training Program that included:
- A full organizational needs assessment to identify leadership priorities and internal gaps
- Bi-weekly, skills-based trainings on strategy, time management, communication, project management, and talent development
- Hands-on coaching to build clarity around roles, decision-making, and team coordination
- A tailored curriculum led by our trainers Rami Kawas, Mohammad Hasan, and Younoos Latheef, rooted in practical tools and Islamic leadership principles
Through this collaboration, MAS National’s leadership team experienced:
- Stronger alignment around mission and strategic priorities
- Improved communication systems and team workflows
- Clearer roles and expectations across executive functions
- A growing leadership pipeline supported by coaching, mentorship, and talent development structures. This investment has already begun creating a more unified, empowered team ready to lead with clarity and purpose.
We’re honored to partner with organizations like MAS National that are committed to strong, values-driven leadership. If your team is ready to strengthen its impact, build alignment, and invest in long-term organizational excellence, let’s talk.
